Hacienda Amaekia is a 35 acre property lovingly kept and maintained to provide visitors with a family-oriented, camp-like space for outdoor cooking, activities, river-swimming and trail hiking. A portion of the property is located along side the soothing sounds of the “Rio Blanco” (White River).  For a  camp-like experience the space provide a number of single, open-air huts for “fogon”(stone) cooking or grilling.  Easily accessible are the cool and soothing waters of the “Rio Blanco”.  The river, a highlight of the Amaekia experience, refreshes bathers as it rushes through the rocks to create amazingly beautiful waterfalls, sounds and natural caves.  Also available, are half-shaded spaces suitable for portable canopy installations enabling visitors to comfortably set up for their day stay.
